Q & A
Tell us about your experience in working with restaurants on creating spaces?
I have worked in the space for 13+ years ranging from working at MGM Casino, to working with national restaurant chains or managing my own fine dining restaurant.
By owning my own restaurant I can relate to restaurant owners right away. I know the day-to-day pains around supply chain, labor, operations, finance etc.. This ability to connect with owners is invaluable.
What are some of your favorite completed projects?
Popeye’s has been one of my favorite “projects”. I have been working with them since 2012 and worked with them on implementing 2 rebrands/redesigns. It has been a great journey as they have grown and evolved.
What has made you successful in your job?
Simply put, I am dedicated to the customer’s needs and have a great team behind me. I work with my clients from start to finish and am available 24/7 to assist.
By knowing the full capabilities of the SCI Team allows me to support clients beyond what they may know us for. We have extensive design capabilities, including graphics, so we just aren’t a manufacturer.
Name some trends you are seeing in the industry?
Mobile pickup ordering experiences. These areas of a restaurant are in their infancy but are becoming standard for almost all designs.
