OUR APPROACH
SCI Custom worked closely with the architects, site team, and project stakeholders throughout the project to ensure seamless coordination between trades.
To maintain a cohesive aesthetic throughout the restaurant interior, our team standardized finish materials across multiple custom elements, including booths, paneling, counters, and architectural details. This ensured visual consistency across the entire space.
The SCI Custom team also participated in regular on-site project management meetings with the construction team, allowing for proactive communication, quick issue resolution, and alignment with the construction schedule.
This collaborative process helped ensure the design intent was preserved while keeping manufacturing and installation on track.
THE CHALLENGE
This project involved a new interior design concept with multiple custom-built elements, each requiring careful coordination between fabrication teams and the onsite construction team.
Key challenges included:
Maintaining the designer’s interior concept across multiple custom components
Fabricating and installing a site-specific tree surround with an integrated counter top
Managing the complex manufacturing and installation requirements of custom architectural elements
Coordinating the fabrication and installation of a custom metal bar shelf with surrounding finishes
The tree surround and counter assembly required precision measurements, custom fabrication, and detailed installation planning, making it one of the most technically demanding elements of the project.
Through close coordination with the design and construction teams, SCI Custom successfully delivered a fully integrated hospitality interior solution that matched the design vision while meeting the practical requirements of commercial installation.
